How to accept or decline an invitation to an event
When you log in you will be taken to the events page which will show you all of the events that you are invited to.
Click on the event you want to RSVP to. This will take you to your invitations for that event.
On this page you will be able to:
1. Edit your personal details (See below) and update dietary/Allergen information
2. View the personal invite to the event, created by your host
3. RSVP to the invite by Accepting or declining the invitation(s).
To update your dietary information, once you select "Edit", it will take you to your personal details tab - where you can view and also edit your personal information
To edit, select the button saying "Edit". This will then take you to the next page, where you can update your details, leave a bespoke note to your host and update your dietary information. Once you have done this, click "Update" and this information will be shared with your host automatically.
NB - How to add allergens and/or dietary requirements to your RSVP (that aren't in the list?)
If your dietary requirement is not on the selected list from the option above, you can still let your host know by using the "message to host" section.
This is designed to let you pass on a message to your host which they will be able to see and deal with on their side.
If your Dietary requirement/Allergen is not on the list above, please make sure to let them know using Hostology and also directly. Hostology can be used for the listed common allergens & Dietary requirements, but is not responsible for passing on this information to hosts/venues/suppliers.
Please note, it is the responsibility of you & your host to inform the relevant parties of any specific dietary requirements - Hostology is not responsible for dietary information being shared, or how this information is used once added to the system, so we please advise for any serious dietary requirements you let your host / any caterers know directly to be sure.
