Hostology is your free event planning tool, which allows you to plan and collaborate with your venue - to make planning your event simple... so you can focus on enjoying the event!

Hostology is an easy to use event planning tool. What does this mean? Hostology allows you to plan your event and add in all of the key details in one easy to manage space - saving time and hundreds of emails/calls back and forth with your venue, suppliers and guests! How does the collaboration work - Who can see what?
To simplify the planning journey, saving everyone time! Hostology has a smart collaborative system. This allows different people to see, edit and respond to information on the event - so you don't have to always do it for them.
So who are the main people you can share information and collaborate with on Hostology? They would be:
- You (Either it's your event, or you are planning it for someone!)
- Your Venue (They create the event, and invite you to the platform. Can see all details, apart from private notes and guest contact info - unless you share them!).
- Your Suppliers (Can see your event details, any notes or documents you add to them as well - see here)
- Your Guests (Can see Venue/Event details, update their dietary info, see any rooms you assign them, see your giftlist and see/RSVP to their invitation - where you can include any important info for the event timings) You can check out the guest welcome video here.
Planning an event, from a big wedding to a small private party can sometimes feel daunting, as there can be a lot to arrange. We have this video to help guide you through navigating the platform and some of the key areas:
To get started on Hostology, we have come up with this list, to help you easily navigate the platform and make sure you can maximise the benefits & minimise the admin!
We would then suggest these 3 points to start your journey and enable you to get the most out of your Hostology experience:

2. Check out and start planning your event's itinerary and the running order of the day - This article has information on itineraries (including adding/checking the all important Food & Drinks!
3. Decide who is coming and start creating your guest list! - Hostology allows you to both invite and allocate rooms to your guests, so add them early to get all the benefits. Check this article for creating your guest list and this for how to book accommodation.
