Hello and welcome to Hostology!
We are delighted you have joined Hostology and are going to be using the platform for your event planning process.
We know that using a new system can be a a little daunting, so have created a support library to guide you through all the steps of Hostology - from setting up your venue, to what your customers can see and do.
Hostology is designed to be intuitive, but also allow for you to plan events in fine detail - allowing you to simply manage a vast and complex events calendar. If you do need support though, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at Support@hostology.co.uk where our dedicated team will be on hand to help you.
The First Steps
Once you have been invited, the first step is to create your account and login online. There should be a link in your email, taking you to the Hostology platform. If you need to login and have lost the initial invite email, you can access the platform here.
Once you go to the platform through your initial invite link, it will prompt you to create your password and login. For more information on passwords, check out this article.
Once you are logged in, you will now have access to Hostology, Welcome! There is one more thing we suggest you do before carrying on, which is signing up to the Hostology Collective. This a users group where we provide platform updates and live information, as well as discussion options for the industry. Within the users group, you will get live update information though that is not shared with the general public so you can learn about new features and start using them quicker. Depending on what you want to do in Hostology, we recommend following the paths of the following articles:
- If you are going to be setting up your venue's information and are the primary user of Hostology, check out this article for the key first steps in setting up your Hostology Account.
- If you are going to be planning events in depth and are an admin for your Venue, we recommend starting with this article for more information on setting up details and time saving features.
- If you are primarily part of the team, creating events only, check out this article of how to get started (and make sure to follow the next steps).
- If you want simply use Hostology to view event information, download data and access itineraries to know what you/your team needs to do on the day, you can check out the following article for a quick tour of what is possible.
