Welcome to the new Hostology Feature - Guest Management!
This feature allows you to add, edit & manage guests for the event, no longer requiring the host to manage these sections - so you can take full control of planning the event.
Check out this tour for how the Guest Management section works:
To access the Guest Management Section:
- Go to the Event where you want to add or edit guests
- Choose the "Event Planning" option on the left hand menu
- Select "Guest Management"
You will then have access to the guest list for the event. Here you will be able to see all guests that your Host has already added. Or, if they have not added any guests yet, you can start from scratch on their behalf.
Adding Guests
To add a guest to the guest list, you have two choices:
- "Add Guest" - Add a single guest (great if someone calls and wants to be booked to a room)
- "Import" - Add a bulk upload of guests (Names and Email, great if your guest has shared their list)

Editing Guests
Once you have a guest that you would like to edit/update, you can edit information on screen. Simply select the 3 dots at the far right to edit all key details of the guest.
Alternatively, you can select their name and see more details on the information about the guest + edit from this page instead.
Changing Guest Status
You can also change and update the guests attendance status. Simply select the Icon on the far left of the screen and change their status accordingly. This can be really useful if you provide catering, as it will pull through the update information to the Food & Drink section.
Deleting/Removing Guests
You can also remove guests from the guest list. Simply choose the 3 dots on the far right of the screen. You can then select "Remove Guest" which will delete them from the event.
Alternatively, you can select their name and delete from the Guest details page too.
If you delete a guest by accident, if you re-add them with the same email address, it will populate the previously saved details for you, as it makes up their profile on Hostology (Any guest without an email you'll need to start from scratch).
