The notes section is specific to events in Hostology. This area has been designed to be your online notebook, where you can note down anything you need for the event. Our venues use this to take notes from calls, add ideas they have had, share ideas with their customers or even ask questions - as it is such an easy and simple tool to use in Hostology!
With notes, you have the option to decide whether they are internal notes, or shared with your customer.
This tool allows you to use notes for as many purposes as you choose!
To find the notes section, simply go to the event you want to add/view a note for and then select the "Notes" tab on the left hand menu
1. When you have selected your relevant Event, click the 'Notes' section from the panel on the left-hand side. Once in the notes section, Click '+ Add note' in the top right corner of the page.
2. A panel will open up on the right-hand side, where you will be prompted to add in some details for your note, these include:
- Title - The name of the note
- Share With Customer - These are some settings for sharing the note with your hosts
- Visible - "Internal Only" (only your venue team can see the note) vs "All" (your customers can see the note)
-
- Editable - "View only" (This means your customer cannot edit the note, but can see it) vs "Can Edit" (Your customer will be able to edit the note - good if you ask a question!). To make a note editable, you must also set it to visible to all.
- The Text box - All the information you want to add into the note. Please note you can add colours and fonts using the tool bar. You can also add tables and images to the note too to make it a more visual experience for you and your customers.
3. Press the save button once you have created your note. Your note will now be added to the notes section. To edit or delete your note click the three dots on the top right-hand side of your note. You can choose to edit or delete your note.
