You can now invite your guest by simply sharing the invitation via link with them, no email addresses needed! You can share it on Whatsapp or include it in your paper invites so guests can RSVP to your event.
On the create invites page, there's a placeholder invite that has all of your itinerary items linked as Hostology tracks guest dietary requirements for meals.
You can track different meals by deselecting/selecting itinerary items in your invite by clicking into the invite, and then into invite settings. For example, track RSVPs and dietaries for your evening guests by selecting the evening food itinerary items and the venue will see what the dietary requirements for that time of day are.
Once you're happy with your invite, go to Send Invite page, select the invite you'd like to send and start moving guests from the right hand column to the "Invited Guests" column
Once your guests are in the selected column, selected them all or just some and click on the share link icon
A pop up will appear to customize your URL and you can make any changes to the link.
If you change the URL your guests will not be redirected to the new link so make any changes before you send it out
Click on "Mark as Invited and Copy" to invite your guests, this will mark the guests as invited so you can track who you've sent it to. ANY GUEST IN THE INVITED COLUMN WILL SEE THE INVITE IF THEY LOG IN. The link is then copied on your clipboard and you can use it for your QR code or paste it in a chat.
Once guests access the link, they'll see your invite with all the text/images you shared and then they'll click RSVP to type in their names to match the guest list (it has to be an exact match, not case sensitive) to RSVP.
