Hostology has a table plan feature, which allows your customers to create table plans for their guests. In this article we will show you:

How do Table plans work on Hostology?
Table plans allow your customer to arrange their guests for any itinerary item throughout the day that they want an organised seating plan.
As a venue, you can provide guidance to your couples, see below for "how to". This guidance should explain the seating options at your venue. If you do not have a current document explaining this, please let us know and we can assist in creating one with you.
Your hosts will then be able to login to their account, go to their itinerary and add table plans for as many or as few events as they choose. They will be able to download the guidance and then can free-create a table plan based on this information. For more information on what they can do, see here.
Currently, table plans can only be created by the host, as they are in control of their guestlists. If you would like to see the table plans for your catering team, your host can simply download and share the table plan PDF with you through Hostology.
How to add table plan guidance for your hosts/customers
1. Go to 'Venues' then click on your venue:
2. Navigate to table plans by clicking on 'Planning' then 'Table Plans':
3. Click on 'Upload table plan':
4. Fill out the required information and upload your table plan document, then click 'Save'. This will then be available for your hosts to download as a table plan guide. Please note, the Accepted file types are: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, CSV, PNG and JPEG files with a maximum size of 2MB
5. Your document will then be visible to your hosts/customers when they login in the view here:

Seeing/viewing table plan information
To see the table plans that your customer has created you can request that they share this information with you via Hostology. For them to do this, they can simply download the table plans PDF and then share it with you via the document store. They can also share with suppliers or external caterers/service teams of interest.
